Lenexa, KS · Best: Any time of year
Modern architecture, clean lines, and great light. Perfect for seniors and families who want a more urban feel without going all the way downtown.
Nelson Atkins Art Museum
Kansas City, MO · Best: Spring-Fall
Sweeping green lawns, the neoclassical columns, and the beautiful reflecting pool. Endless backdrops in one spot, and the open south lawn is beautiful when the sun gets low.
The Crossroads & Downtown KC
Kansas City, MO · Best: Year-round, especially winter
Brick, murals, and warm reflected light. A good option for seniors and couples, and a great option when the trees have lost their leaves.
Loose Park
Kansas City, MO · Best: Late May through early October
The rose garden is my personal favorite. Peak bloom is June. The weeping willows down by the pond are a close second — that draping light through the branches is hard to beat. If you are looking for an elegant, dreamy location, this is the place for you.

For newborn sessions I come to you. We use the rooms with the best natural light, keep it warm, and let the baby set the pace. Nothing to pack, nowhere to be.
